Combined medicinal product. Paracetamol is an analgesic-antipyretic. It possesses analgesic, antipyretic, and weak anti-inflammatory effects. Its mechanism of action is associated with the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, predominantly affecting the thermoregulation center in the hypothalamus. The lack of influence on prostaglandin synthesis in peripheral tissues accounts for its absence of negative effects on water-electrolyte balance (sodium and water retention) and the gastrointestinal mucosa. Caffeine stimulates the psychomotor centers of the brain, has a stimulating effect, enhances the effects of analgesics, alleviates drowsiness and fatigue, increases physical and mental performance.
