What is Horseshoe Kidney?

Symptoms

Diagnosis is carried out using ultrasound, CT and MRI of the pelvic organs and kidneys.

Treatment

Treatment may include conservative methods such as antibiotic therapy, or surgical intervention to correct the anomaly.

Prevention

Since the causes of horseshoe kidney development are unknown, specific preventive measures are absent.
